The Name Above All Names
The Bible tells us the name of Jesus is above all other names.
At the name of Jesus demons tremble in their shame.
It was Jesus who died in your place.
It was and will be upon Jesus the destiny of the human race.
We hear the name of Jehovah in eloquent ritual prayers.
The name of God is scattered by religions and public affairs.
Will the name of God free a man from possession or cause a demon to leave?
It's the name of Jesus that was given for mankind’s total reprieve.
It is the name Jesus we hear whispering from dying lips.
It is the Jesus who's back was torn with bones laced in the whips.
It was Jesus who carried the cross on his back up Golgotha's hill.
It is Jesus who watches over His children still.
Man has substituted many other names trying to reach God today.
Nations upon nations worship the beast or monuments of clay.
His name is called wonderful, beautiful, counselor and King of Kings
But the name of Jesus is still the one who salvation perpetually brings.
It was Jesus who walked out of the grave.
It is the name of Jesus whereby ALL men will be saved.
It is the name of Jesus that has ALL power in heaven and in earth.
It is Jesus who takes a sinner and gives him a brand new birth.
I challenge anyone to cast a demon out in any other name.
They will laugh you out of the room as you hang your head in shame.
It is the name of Jesus whom before we will all one day stand.
It is Jesus the Son of the Living God whose coming is SOON at hand.
It isn't Jehovah, or Buddha, or the Catholic Priest name you see.
It is the name of Jesus who still sets all men free.
It isn't any preacher of the gospel on whose name you must depend.
It is Jesus who is still your Savior, your guide and your friend to the very end.
